Monday 27 July 2009 service 391 has a new improved timetable. Following requests from customers, there will now be a regular hourly service between Middlewood and Stockport between the peak periods on Monday to Friday and all day on Saturday. There will also be an additional early morning journey at 06.40 from Middlewood to Stockport on Monday to Friday. Connections to and from Macclesfield are again possible by travelling on the 10.25 or 12.25 journeys from Middlewood, changing at Poynton Church and returning from Macclesfield at 13.20 or 15.20. All this has been made possible by GMPTE with the award of a new bus contract for service 372 between Bramhall and Stockport and the use of available time to boost service 391.
